morning shuffle

"I never felt magic crazy as this
I never saw moons knew the meaning of the sea
I never held emotion in the palm of my hand
Or felt sweet breezes in the top of the tree
But now you're here
Bright in my northern sky."
-Nick Drake, "Northern Sky"

There is an Ailanthus altissima (tree of heaven) that appeared outside one our back windows this year. This kind of tree was introduced from China in the late 1700's and has now become a very invasive nuisance of a tree in our urban settings. Going to have to do something about this guy, and soon.

In the works here at arborboy: overdue bloom blogs, tree ID, and much more. Stay tuned. Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone!
